This month Glossy Box teamed up with Harrods to create this special edition box. For those who don't live in the UK Harrods is our famous upmarket department store in London, if you ever visit it's a must see tourist attraction! I've had this box for over a week now and I've sort of being putting of reviewing it because unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with it, which is such a shame since there was so much initial hype about it! To be honest I don't think I got the right products, looking on the glossy box website there were a lot of other items that I could have received in this box that I would have loved such as the burberry lipstick or the YSL hair serum, but I guess it's just the luck of the draw!
BLISS Blood Orange and White Pepper Body Butter - Body butters are always a great thing to have, this one smells amazing, its a combination that I would never have thought of and it has definitely done it's job, my skin feels gorgeous and moisturised. Really like this one.
REVIVE Intense Creme Lustre SPF30 - This moisturiser is intended for reducing the appearance of 'sagging skin' which at 20, I don't think I need to be worrying about. This product isn't for me but I will try it, you never know it might turn out to be an amazing face cream! I'm not in any hurry to give this one a go though.
LEIGHTON DENNY High Performance Nail Colour (Honey Trap) - Absolutely love Leighton Denny and I know a friend of mine is a huge fan, it's quite expensive off the shelve so I'm really happy to have this little sample:) The colour is a gorgeous neutral tone, a perfect every day shade, I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this one.
VERSACE Vanitas Versace Eau de Parfum - This product is a real treat! I've never owned anything Versace. It has a lovely floral fragrance but it is quite heavy so I think 'a little goes a long way' definitely applies. Also the packaging is beautiful! Lots of tiny delicate detail. I'm not sure whether this fragrance is intended for an older audience as it's not something I would usually go for. I might treat my mum to this one! :)
CLARINS Extra Firming Body Cream - Again, a product not necessarily intended for me. 'A formula rich in regenerating and firming plant extracts which restore the skin's youthful density and elasticity' I'd like to think I don't need this just yet! But just like the 'Revive' cream there's no harm in trying.
I think this box might have been more appreciated if it had gone to someone like my mum, I will definitely be sharing this one with her. What did you think of the Harrods box? Did you get some of the better products? Let me know! :)

February Glossy Box
This month has flown by! Is it Glossy Box time again already!? Wow weeeee. LOVE the dusty rose colour of this month's box.
DUWOP Venom Gloss - This gloss uses the 'lip venom' plumping technique which gives your lips that strange tingly feeling, it's such a weird sensation I can't decide whether I like it or not! The colour is a lovely simple nude, very wearable as an every day gloss. So far so good!
PAUL MITCHELL Round Trip - As someone with naturally poker straight hair, I wondered whether a curl defining product would actually have any effect. I used it on wet hair before I let it dry naturally and the end result was a slight wave, as for the condition I haven't noticed any difference. I'm not so sure about this product and maybe think it is meant for people who want to tame their curls? (the packaging give nothing away!) I might try it again when styling it with curlers.
DR BRONNER Magic Liquid Soap - Reading the bottle I absolutely love the ingredients in this body wash - coconut, olive, jojoba and kemp, all the lovely smells I like in a body product. I'm not sure why, I think it reminds me of holidays and exotic places. It reminds me of a coconut body spray I used to wear as cabin crew so i would always smell of holidays :) The product itself is great and lathers up nicely, definitely feel squeaky clean after this one! It has been a nice replacement from the last glossy box body wash.
BM BEAUTY Pure Mineral Eye Shadow - 'Award winning eye shadow' and I completely see why. Mineral make-up products are a real love-hate subject. I personally never used to get on with them until just recently I re-discovered Bare Minerals foundation, which I now adore. The eye shadow is nicely pigmented with a bit of shimmer and it has stayed on perfectly all day.
COMO SHAMBHALA Invigorate Body Lotion - I used this just after I came out of the shower this morning and it's left my skin feeling silky smooth all day. I can't really say much about this product, the scent hasn't lasted all day and I don't think I would choose it over my usual body butter. I think this one will need a few more tries!

January Glossy Box!
So here it is in all it's glory, the January Glossy Box all in the mood for love! With valentines day approaching Glossy Box have taken a very pink and fluffy approach this month, which is lovely! I'm not a huge valentines fan myself but I think this looks so sweet, who doesn't like a little box full of love!
1. EYEKO Skinny Eyeliner - I got mine in 'Plum'! Who else got this? The application was really smooth and produced a glossy rich colour, of course it's different to your usual black liner but I'm pretty sure this is the sort of colour you could pull off wearing on a day to day basis, it's quite subtle. Looking at the other colours that are available, I am quite glad I got this one. As for the appearance of the liner itself, it has a very long silver point on the end! Which I suppose looks a bit different and quirky but it doesn't fit in my makeup bag! :(
2. MURAD Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer - Dewy finish - This is great for me, an oil free primer that gives a dewy finish and a radiant glow 'powered by light enhancing minerals'. My combination skin is prone to a bit of dryness and oiliness so to have an oil free primer is a bonus. The packaging reminds me a lot of the mac primer, I hope it's better than that!
3. WELEDA One Step Cleanser & Toner - Perfect! What a good idea to roll both cleanser and toner into one product. I'm really unhappy with my current brand so I can't wait to give this one a go. The packing could be more exciting... but I'm sure it's what's inside that counts!
4. ORLY Nail Lacquer - They got the colour spot on with this one, a deep, rich valentines red. I've just applied two coats of this and got really got results. The brush is very easy to use and the colour provides a good even coverage, and super quick drying time! I can't stand varnishes that take forever to dry. I am a massive fan of red nails and I really like this one. Thumbs up!
5. FAB Gentle Body Wash - As someone with sensitive skin I love seeing the word 'gentle' on a body product, and it does exactly what it says on the bottle. It's moisturising and feels silky smooth on your skin, it has a lovely clean smell and left me feeling gorgeous and non - irritant! :)
You can imagine the smile on my face when I found this buried in the box. Thank you Glossy Box for my valentines sweetie!!! nom nom nom.
